Pulled Beef?

Is there a beef equivalent to bbq pulled pork? I was volunteered to supply some of my pulled pork for a work function next month. We have several people of the Jewish faith, so I want to supply an alternative that they can eat. Other than braising a roast or chuck roast, I haven't found if there is a cut of beef that can be smoked and pulled as a pork substitute? Anyone?

Brisket Question

For those willing to entertain beef in a BBQ question, I intend to do a brisket soon. What is the recommended wood? From what I've read, the woods popular for beef seem to be oak, mesquite, and apple.

Good chicken, burnt glove

We had great chicken under a brick but I lost my new Webber glove. It was a windy day and the grill was burning well. A piece of burning charcoal dropped through the bottom air vents onto the shelf where I had placed the glove. I noticed that it had burnt a hole through the thumb but when I tried to use the glove I found it was very hot inside. In fact the lining was smouldering and in the wind it was soon well alight. I would have thought the glove would have been fire resistant, so just be careful folks if your glove is smoking instead of the food don't put it on!
